Since the weather was absolutely wonderful today (50+ degrees F on January 11th in Michigan is BEAUTIFUL), I decided to get the outside Christmas lights down so they won't have to endure the harshest winter weather (they have been spoiled up to this point). The weather forecasters are predicting quite a bit of snow for tomorrow and Friday.
This however, is a picture of the lights right now because I didn't wind them up as I was taking them out of the tree and off the bushes.
I picture myself sitting down after church tonight and untangling and winding the lights back up properly. Please Lord, allow me to stand fast in you so that I do not become entangled! I have spent time with a yoke of bondage and it was no fun!
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. - Galatians 5:1
