In God We Trust

In God We Trust - it's written right there for all the world to see, but what does it REALLY mean? As a consumer using the money, I trust in God, yes. But, as a country - that prints and backs the money - do we really trust in God?

If we, the United States of America, truly trusted in God, so many things would be so different... Prayer would still be allowed in school. Killing innocent, helpless babies would be illegal. Jails wouldn't be overcrowded. There wouldn't be hundreds of thousands of children in the foster care system. Tim Tebow bowing and thanking God would be the norm, not the extreme exception. Just sayin'...

...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. - II Chronicles 7:14
