My husband bought this little character for me a couple of Christmases ago.  What a treasure of memories this brought back from my childhood.  So simple, but what a smile it brought again.  :-)  Did you have one of these growing up?

What did you call it?  Bird bobber toy?  Water dippy bird?  Is there a real name for him?

Happy Place

My happy place isn't a place, rather a state of being; being married to my amazing husband!  

Being married to him, being his wife ALWAYS makes me happy.  Now, before you think I am saying we are perfect, we aren't always happy - we are human and we do our share to disappoint and frustrate the other (not on purpose) - for sure!  But even then, I am MORE than happy...again, I am BLESSED!  My happy place is anywhere we are together.

Lunch

Lunch!  We had a VERY late breakfast (after being up to ring in the new year last night), so this was our LATE lunch!!!  My WONDERFUL husband made homemade pizza; he is too good to me, but I am 

extremely grateful for him.

Bench

My husband is a wonderful man!  He has MANY skills and qualities; some of which he has learned on his own and others that were passed down to him from his father and grandfather.  This was his project today - a new work bench - and it turned out GREAT!  I am SO thankful and grateful for him.

The woman I want to be should get these flowers...but instead, my absolutely AMAZING husband brought them home for me! He treats me like a queen and I certainly do not deserve it. I am SO blessed!!

LOVE this man!

Today during my volunteer training at the PRC we were discussing relationships and how to help young women strive for good relationships. If I could, I would take my husband in and show every single one that walks through the doors, THE PERFECT MAN! :-) While he disagrees, he is! Even after the extremely awful day we had, my WONDERFULLY amazing husband was baking a Red-Velvet Cherry Cake Roll for our Valentine's Day dinner at home. I couldn't love him more!

While my wonderful man is the epitome of I Corinthians 13, this is the verse I chose for him today.
