Blue

I have always loved the color blue...specifically, navy blue.  Here is just one more reason why...the "Maize and Blue."  I ordered this shirt just after Christmas - not knowing if I would actually get it (they needed to have a specific number of orders before they would actually "print" them).  So, I was THRILLED when I got a notice that it was being shipped.  If you know me at all, you know that I love the University of Michigan; some might even call me a fanatic.  But it's all in line with this shirt...GO BLUE and 'It's great, to be, a Michigan Wolverine!  :-)

Our Heroes

This is my two-page layout for a scrapbook contest this weekend.  If you know me at all, you know that red, white and blue is one of my favorite color themes.  I LOVED this plaid paper and the ribbons and THE PICTURES!  Oh the pictures...of our dads.  I am SO grateful for their service; SO proud of them; and EVER grateful for God's protection over them as they served Our Country.  In honor of our dads...

If only we (as a country) would humble ourselves and honor our Father, so that we may live long in the land the LORD our God has blessed us with...

“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you." Exodus 20:12
