C is for...

CUTE!  This little guy does bring a smile to your face most days.  He really has been a GREAT little dog...and he's getting older every day.  Reality is that he won't be with us too much longer because he's dealing with health issues...soooo, trying to prepare myself now...  This picture is absolutely perfect of him.  He made his way under the table, and cover, to play with his Chicago Bears toy that he got for Christmas.  When I called his name to snap this picture, this is what I got...priceless!!  :-)

Bedtime

Not my bedtime, but Skippy's.  He loves his blankets.  He's pretty cute.  Period.

Cuteness

Skippy in his cuteness once again.  Just made me happy!

Concern

Skippy's toys got a bath!  He was so concerned for them that he waited anxiously in the laundry room.  Even when they were done, he was concerned that maybe one was missing; he was sniffing as high up as he could.  So we put him in the dryer, so he could be assured that none got left behind!  (Oh how I needed this laugh!)
Saul replied, “The LORD bless you for your concern for me. - I Samuel 23:21

Master

I just couldn't resist this sweet picture of two of my boys this evening.  Skippy LOVES being with his master.
It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. - Luke 12:43

Sunshine

Bruce has said it many times - Skippy makes him smile/laugh almost every day. (Skippy does have quite the personality.) Today was another one of those days. He was thoroughly enjoying the heat of the sunshine and did not really want to come back in the house; who could blame him?
This is what the LORD says to me: “I will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” - Isaiah 18:4

He makes me smile!

Bruce has always said that Skippy makes him smile at least once a day and I am beginning to believe I would have to agree. He really is a great little dog. He loves it when his "people" are all around. He's full of personality and if dogs could talk, he'd talk a lot!
If I say, ‘I will forget my complaint, I will change my expression, and smile,’ - Job 9:27

Caught

Just one of the many funny moments that our Daschund Skippy gives us!! Yes, he's got himself caught in the sleeve of Bruce's sweatshirt...not a first (twice just today) and I am sure not a last.

This is such a different turn. Definitely not a funny moment. The total opposite; the picture of another animal that found himself caught. But what a wonderful picture of trust, faith, sacrifice, love, grace...for us.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. - Genesis 22:13
