Daddy

Happy Father's Day to ALL!  This man is my father, but mostly he is my daddy - to this day!  I love that scripture helps us relate to our Heavenly Father by calling out Abba, Father - Daddy!

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. - Romans 8:15

Carpenter

This is my carpenter husband's Saturday project!  (I teased him that it was his Pinterest Project.)

He wanted something for his grilling station and he created this himself.  It really is beautiful and I am so proud of him.  He had the opportunity to learn some carpentry from his Dad and his Grandpa and I know that he treasures that.

The carpenter measures with a line and makes an outline with a marker; he roughs it out with chisels and marks it with compasses. He shapes it in human form, human form in all its glory, that it may dwell in a shrine. - Isaiah 44:13
