Hot or Cold

My wonderful husband brings me a Biggby coffee every now and then; yes, I am spoiled. I love Biggby! But, I don't like it so hot that it burns my tongue. (If you read the bottom of the cup, it says CAUTION CONTENTS HOT.) While I don't like my coffee too hot, I don't like it too cold either...a nice happy medium.

But it's not that way with Christ. He doesn't want a happy medium - not riding the fence - not lukewarm. He wants either hot or cold. I love the catch phrase on this cup, too...B passionate. That's what Christ wants from us, too; to be passionate about Him, to be passionate about our faith, to be passionate about the gospel.

So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
