Look at my fancy little box. Isn't it cute? I love it. I love the colors. I love the size. I love everything about it. But, do you know what's inside? Nope, you sure don't. It could store all kinds of things; even some not so good things. That's just like us. No matter how "cute" or "fancy" we may be on the oustide, God knows our inside and that's what matters.
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” - I Samuel 16:756/365
