Broken

These are our every day dishes. (Actually, they are our "good," dishes, too!) They are Correlle. I wanted them for three reasons. 1. I LOVE the square pattern. 2. Plain white goes with everything. 3. Correlle is "chip and break resistant." This week one of the luncheon plates broke. Of course it was an accident. I would never intentionally break one.

When you read God's Word, sometimes you stumble upon things that don't necessarily make sense; wars, people commanded to kill other people, breaking vessels on purpose, and so on. Thankfully, God has a reason and purpose for everything...including intentionally breaking a vessel.

And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it. - Leviticus 11:33
