Isn't that a fitting, yet boring title for a December 31st post? Perhaps, but it is what it is. This blog has been around for a few years, most of which it just sat there. Not any more. It is getting a new beginning. The old posts have all been deleted, it's gotten a new little facelift and a fresh new start.
While Iam not much for New Year's resolutions (mostly because I fail at them), this year I want to try something new. This blog will contain my attempt at a Project 365! What is that you say? A 365 project is where you do something every day for a year...generally, take a photograph and post it. There are all kinds of twists on a Project 365...you can photograph something specific every day for a year, you can have a theme for each photo, you can photograph yourself in different locations every day, etc.
My specific twist on this Project 365 is a different photo every day...no specific theme, location or subject, but with the addition of a Bible verse for each photo. This will continue to feed my photography and scrapbooking habits (although they need no nourishment), as well as keeping me daily in the Word of God! Will each verse correspond with each photograph? Probably not. I can already think of many things that I would like to photograph that will not correspond with a specific Bible verse, but I will do my best.
There are already times when I know that I will not be able to post on here "every" day (i.e. out of town, out of WiFi range, etc.). But I am committed to a picture and verse --no duplicates-- for every day this new year as soon as is reasonably possible.
May you enjoy this little "adventure" with me! Feedback is definitely welcomed!!
